What we are looking for

This role supports the Internal Communications Manager and team members in developing and delivering internal communications. Responsibilities include creating and proofreading newsletters, intranet articles, and email campaigns; managing distribution lists; and maintaining the company intranet. The position also involves producing simple graphics, uploading multimedia content, and assisting with virtual events such as Town Halls and webinars. Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills are essential, along with proficiency in communication tools and platforms. The role requires adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The role is in-office full-time to start with the potential to be transitioned to hybrid.



How you can make an impact

Content Development

    Develop and structure weekly newsletters based on provided content guidance.
  • Assist with the development and execution of intranet news articles for client wins, employee spotlights, and other key announcements.
  • Proofread all company email communications and articles on the company intranet, verify functionality of links, check for grammatical errors, and edit for readability and flow.
  • Proofread and edit documents (FAQs, supplemental communications) for grammar, spelling, and accuracy.
  • Maintain internal communications, editorial, and content calendar, ensuring proactive planning and support for departmental firmwide communications.

Operations & Administration

  • Facilitate approvals for company email communications, ensuring messages are delivered in a timely manner in accordance with pre-determined send dates.
  • Execute firmwide and targeted email sends from the company's internal email distribution software.
  • Manage internal distribution lists in the company's internal communications software.
  • Maintain and update the company intranet, including updating news and posts on the homepage, publishing news articles, and creating new site pages as requested.

Multimedia Production

  • Upload audio and video content to the company's video hosting platform for internal use.
  • Create simple graphics (e.g., email headers, financial charts & graphs, presentation slide visuals) for internal communications.
  • Assist with the technical production and coordination of firmwide Town Halls and webinars through Zoom and support the execution of virtual events and webinars.
  • Assist with production of podcasts and video communications, including physical set-up of equipment, camera operation, and monitoring video and audio during recordings.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience in internal communications or a similar administrative role.
  • Demonstrated experience in proofreading written communications consistent with AP style standards.
  • Experience managing editorial calendars and ensuring timely approvals and delivery.
  • Experience writing a wide range of communications
  • Experience with MS Teams, Zoom, SharePoint, and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.


Pay Range

USD $26.00 - USD $28.00 /Hr.
