What You'll Do
  • Operate and maintain pumps, reservoirs, tanks, and SCADA monitoring systems.
  • Collect and analyze water samples to ensure quality and safety.
  • Maintain and flush fire hydrants to keep our city prepared.
  • Assist with lead service line replacement data collection.
  • Respond to alarms and emergencies as part of an on-call rotation.
  • Keep accurate records for inspections and reporting.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb towers, and work in all weather conditions.
  • Strong mechanical, lab, and computer skills (Excel, SCADA, lab equipment).
  • Willingness to earn certifications (Municipal Waterworks Operator, CDL, NIMS).
  • DNR Certification required within 1 year of hire.
  • A commitment to public health, safety, and teamwork.
