Assistant/Associate/Full Professor - Classical Hematology

The Division of Hematology, Oncology & Transplantation (HOT) at the University of Minnesota Medical School, in partnership with the Masonic Cancer Center (an NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center), is seeking a visionary faculty physician with expertise in non-malignant (benign) hematology. This position is available at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor on the Academic or Clinician Track (not tenure). Responsibilities
* Deliver compassionate and expert clinical care to patients with benign hematologic disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings
* Develop and/or lead clinical trials, translational studies, or lab-based investigations
* Contribute actively to medical education and training programs across the Medical School's learning continuum
* Support multidisciplinary teams and advocate for growth in classical hematology services
* Engage with institutional and national partners to advance research, care models, and population outcomes in non-malignant hematology

Qualifications

Qualifications
* M.D. or equivalent; Board Eligible/Board Certified in Hematology
* Demonstrated excellence in clinical care of patients with benign hematologic disorders
* Strong teaching skills and enthusiasm for academic medicine
* Evidence of research productivity or interest in developing academic focus (clinical, translational, or basic science)
* Eligible for medical licensure and credentialing in Minnesota
* Candidates with specialized expertise in hemostasis/thrombosis, red cell disorders, hemoglobinopathies, gene therapy, TTP, complement disorders, rare diseases, or clinical trial development are strongly encouraged to apply

Pay and Benefits

This role is dually employed by the University of Minnesota and University of Minnesota Physicians. Salary at the University of Minnesota is dependent upon academic effort of the person hired, and begins at $55,000. Clinical salary, aligned with clinical effort, is provided through University of Minnesota Physicians. Total salary is competitive with market and based on AAMC salary benchmarks.
