Job Overview
The Supply Chain Planning Manager at T-Mobile is an individual contributor role instrumental in aligning Replenishment plan from Distribution Centers to Retail Stores by implementing strategies for inventory targets, parameter adjustments, inventory control, demand forecasting, and lifecycle management. The Supply Chain Planning Manager performs analysis of inventory throughout the product lifecycle to ensure efficient movement of inventory through replenishment and inventory rebalancing. By analyzing trends and collaborating with internal teams, the manager ensures that inventory levels meet the demand by supporting in stock targets & reducing stranded inventory. The manager's expertise in demand and/or replenishment planning enhances operational efficiency and contributes to the overall success of the company. The Supply Chain Planning Manager's role is crucial in maintaining a seamless flow of goods and services, supporting T-Mobile's commitment to excellent customer service and maximizing sales.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements strategies for inventory control, demand forecasting, and material management to align buy plan with demand forecast
- Analyzes inventory throughout the product lifecycle to ensure efficient material movement in collaboration with supply planning, allocation, demand planning, and product teams
- Collaborates with internal teams to ensure inventory levels are optimized to meet market demands and support revenue targets
- Enhances operational efficiency by applying expertise in demand and/or replenishment planning
- Monitors and analyzes trends to make informed decisions that support the seamless flow of goods and services
- Supports T-Mobile's commitment to customer service and supplier relationship management through effective supply chain practices
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years of related work experience OR advanced degree with 1 year of related work experience OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required) Acceptable areas of study include Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Master's/Advanced Degree Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or related field (Preferred)
- 4-7 years - Experience in replenishment or inventory planning and demand forecasting within the supply chain sector
- 4-7 years - Experience in managing supply and demand relationships and collaborating with internal teams to align supply chain processes
- 4-7 years - Experience in implementing strategies for inventory control and material management to optimize supply chain operations
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Problem Solving- Strong problem-solving skills to address supply chain challenges and optimize processes. (Required)
- Supply Chain Management- In-depth understanding of supply chain processes including inventory control, demand forecasting, and material management. (Required)
- Analytics- Ability to perform complex data analysis to monitor inventory levels and forecast demand. (Required)
- Cross Functional Relationships- Ability to work effectively across different departments to align supply chain strategies with company objectives. (Required)
- Communication- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with suppliers and internal teams. (Required)
- Microsoft Excel- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. (Required)
- Leadership- Proven leadership skills to manage and guide supply chain teams.
- Strategic Thinking- Ability to develop strategic approaches to enhance supply chain efficiency and meet business goals. (Required)
- Project Management- Capability to manage multiple supply chain projects simultaneously with precision.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Supply Chain Management (CPIM) Offered by APICS, this certification enhances knowledge in production and inventory management, improving efficiency in the areas of demand forecasting, production planning, and inventory control. (Preferred)
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) Also provided by APICS, this certification helps professionals understand and streamline supply chain management, from supplier to customer, and enhances their ability to manage global supply chain activities. (Preferred)
- Six Sigma - Champion Leadership Certification that focuses on continuous improvement through defect reduction, cycle time reduction, and cost savings. Six Sigma methodologies are highly regarded in supply chain management. (Preferred)

Base Pay Range: $81,600 - $147,200

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
