Job Description:

Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an exciting career opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer to join our National Mission Critical team!

Do you bring at least 2+ years of successful commercial construction experience in a design-build environment? Do you enjoy working in a fast, fun, inclusive and collaborative work space? Are you looking to learn more about field and office operations while working on a construction project site and assisting Project Managers and Superintendents? Some things you can expect to do:
  • Develop a working understanding of budgets, schedules, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, change orders and other management tools.

  • Assume responsibility and communicate effectively with all internal and external customers.

  • Support Project Managers and Superintendents with various project related tasks.

  • Assist in Owner change pricing; prepare billings and review invoices.

  • Monitor assigned subcontracts, subcontractor schedules relative to material deliveries and subcontractor manpower.

  • Travel as needed.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering/Management or related field

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial construction

  • Willingness to travel as needed to execute projects

You will really stand out if you:
  • Have Mission Critical Data Center project experience.

  • Read and understand engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost coding systems.

  • Have knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control and material pricing

  • Have experience in Construction Management Software (i.e. Procore)

  • Design-build commercial construction experience

  • Have process proven knowledge of complex mission critical MEP systems.
