We are currently seeking a Configuration Management (CM) to support our customer in Patuxent River, Maryland location.

Functional Description:

The Configuration Management (CM) analyst provides professional support services to the NAVAIR PMA-262 Program Office in the execution of Program Office Configuration Management (CM) responsibilities. This position supports the PMA-262 Configuration Managers' responsibilities and serves as a liaison between PMA Configuration Management and Software Configuration Management (SCM) activities.

Duties:

* Supports implementation of the Program Office Configuration Management Plan (CMP) and assists in the review of Software Configuration Management Plans (SCMPs) for alignment with PMA CM requirements.

* Assists in maintaining functional, allocated, product, and software baselines at the program level

* Serves as PMA CM liaison to Software Configuration Management (SCM) personnel to maintain visibility of software configuration activities.

* Attends Software Configuration Control Board (SCCB) meetings in a monitoring and coordination capacity; providing summary updates, documenting actions, and configuration impact visibility to PMA CM leadership

* Monitor software builds, releases, and baseline updates to ensure configuration status accounting is reflected at the program level.

* Provides status updates and impacts summaries to PMA Configuration Manager regarding software changes affecting approved program baselines.

* Process and track Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Requests for Variances (RFVs), and Proposed Specification Change Notices (PSCNs) to ensure proper documentation, traceability, and incorporation into program level configuration records.

* Support Software Verification Audits and System Verification Audit activities by ensuring configuration documentation aligns with approved requirements and verified baselines.

* Assist in preparation for Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs) and Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs) by compiling baseline documentation, tracking discrepancies, and ensuring configuration-controlled artifacts reflect approved configurations.

* Support configuration status accounting activities to ensure hardware and software changes are accurately reflected in program documentation.

* Assists in maintaining configuration documentation repositories and ensure proper archival of approved configuration records in accordance with PMA processes.

* Coordinate with systems engineering, test, cybersecurity, logistics, and software teams to ensure configuration impacts are documented and communicated within the PMA CM framework.

Required Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or related technical discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Allowable substitution:

Associate's Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.

OR

Four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.

Required Experience:

* Five (5)- Eight (8) Years of experience supporting configuration management in a DoD or Federal acquisition environment.

* Demonstrated experience supporting software configuration management processes.

* Experience supporting Configuration Control Board (CCB) operations and developing change control board documentation.

* Familiarity with ECP, RFV, and PSCN processing within the NAVAIR Enterprise Change Management Tool (ECM).

* Working knowledge of configuration audit verification activities, including FCA and PCA preparation.

* Familiarity with version control systems and configuration management tools.

Desired Experience:

* Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $78,433.26 to $117,649.90 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems' total compensation package.
