As a Security Guard - Unarmed Rover in Plainfield, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will assist team members and guests with professionalism, strong communication, and customer-focused service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, store teams, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail sales floor, stock areas, entrances, and exterior perimeter to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer traffic patterns, reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance hazards to site leadership per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, supporting store staff requests, and/or coordinating with local authorities as directed.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activity, incidents, and patrol findings, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervisors and on-site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6+ months of Security Experience.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Lift More Than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Loss Prevention is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
