Job Description




As a Security Officer Rover Driver Clearance Required in Ocala, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. You will deliver clear customer service and communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, guided by a caring culture and integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site contacts and/or emergency services as required.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, processing visitor logs, issuing temporary badges when authorized, and directing personnel to approved areas.
  • Complete detailed reports on patrol findings, access control activity, incidents, and/or equipment issues, and communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and site stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
