As an Unarmed Patrol Security Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will drive and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will assist guests and tenants with directions and concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with site leadership. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail and/or mall location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior common areas, exterior walkways, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor entrances, loading and/or service areas, and other designated points; assist with access control and provide directions and/or information as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Document security-related incidents, observations, and patrol activity in written reports and/or electronic systems; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
