As a Security Officer - Neighborhood Foot Patrol in Fairburn, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a busy manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related issues, and document observations and incidents with clear communication. Working with a caring, people-first team, you will deliver reliable service, respond to requests, and bring integrity, agility, and innovation to each shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Control access where assigned by checking identification and/or authorization, documenting visitor and contractor activity, and directing traffic flow for deliveries and employee parking as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, assisting with evacuations as directed, and coordinating with local responders when required.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and promptly report hazards, maintenance issues, and policy violations to the appropriate site contact and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
