Security Officer - Armed Perimeter Patrol

As a Security Officer - Armed Perimeter Patrol in Centennial, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and observed concerns, document activity clearly, and communicate professionally with site personnel and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to facility personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities.
• Carry and maintain authorized firearms and related equipment in accordance with licensing requirements, post orders, and Allied Universal policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating notifications and coordinating with site management and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout industrial buildings, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or suspicious conditions.
• Complete security-related reports and activity logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate status updates during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3+ years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Have 1+ year armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
