Job Description




As a Security Officer - Gated Community in Anaheim Hills, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will help manage visitor and tenant entry using badge systems, greet guests with strong customer service, and monitor activity at key access points. You will conduct routine patrols and complete clear reports using a computer and/or tablet. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property.
  • Control access at building entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor passes, managing sign-in logs, and directing guests to approved areas.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems; document unusual activity and report issues to property management and/or designated contacts.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with evacuations, medical calls, and/or building system alerts as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, lobbies, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or property damage.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 1+ years of security experience.
  • Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet preferred.
  • Have a Guard Card and/or license preferred.
  • Have customer service experience preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
