Salary Statement

Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $63,150.00/Yr. - USD $105,200.00/Yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.


Description

    Providing intermediate level technical support for hardware, software, and operating system issues across a DoD enterprise environment
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for end users, resolving incidents, installing standard productivity suites, and ensuring service level agreements are met while documenting all work in the help desk system
  • Creating clear incident reports and maintaining knowledgebase articles

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, cybersecurity, data Science, information systems, or computer science (ABET/CAE) or an associate's degree with four or more years of relevant experience or six years of experience
  • Active DoD TopSecret clearance (or higher)
  • Three or more productive years in computerusersupport (CSWF Intermediate) or equivalent onthejob training
  • One of the following certifications: A+, Network+, CND, Security+, GSEC (or any DoDapproved baseline)
  • Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve enduser hardware/software problems


Desired Skills

  • Advanced troubleshooting of Windows 10/11, macOS, and major Linux distributions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint) and SaaS applications used by DoD
  • Experience with remotesupport tools (e.g., Bomgar, TeamViewer, VNC) and imaging solutions (MDT, SCCM, Ghost)
  • Strong command of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Azure AD for account provisioning and deprovisioning
  • Ability to script routine tasks (PowerShell, Bash) to automate ticket resolution
  • Excellent written communication; proven track record creating userfriendly knowledgebase articles and stepbystep guides
  • Customerservice mindset with a focus on meeting or exceeding SLA targets
  • Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM processes and incidentmanagement best practices


Clearance Information

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET / SCI ELIGIBILITY



Travel Requirements

  • Domestic travel up to10% of the year (2weeks) for site visits, security assessments, or briefings at other DoD locations
  • International travel less than 5% of the year, only when required for coordination with overseas partners and subject to clearance approval
