Job Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) delivers safe, age-appropriate care under RN or provider supervision. Responsibilities include collecting and reporting patient data, reinforcing education, supporting care plans, and participating in quality improvement.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Reinforces routine patient and family education.
  • Collects and documents objective and subjective data; reports changes in condition to the RN or provider for further assessment.
  • Contributes to patient assessments and supports implementation of the plan of care under RN supervision.
  • Provides developmentally appropriate care and evaluates outcomes of interventions, communicating results to the care team.
  • Participates in quality and process improvement initiatives.
  • Supports personal and professional growth through self-directed learning and unit-based activities.
  • Maintains professional boundaries and collaborates effectively within the multidisciplinary care team.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Degrees
    • High School diploma or GED
  • Area of Study
    • and completion of a Practical Nursing certification or diploma program
  • Experience
    • Minimum Experience Required:One (1) year of LPN experience
  • Equivalency
    • Not Applicable
  • Licenses & Certifications
    • Basic Life Support
    • Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Additional Requirements
    • BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association with at least 6 months left before expiration is required upon hire.

Salary Information
Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

Hourly Range: $25.95 to $38.93
