Our Marietta location has an opening for a 2nd shift Manufacturing Trainee (Plate Maker) position. This is an entry-level role that requires NO EXPERIENCE in manufacturing.

The starting pay for this position is $21/hour plus $1/hour shift differential. Employees are eligible for two, 50-cent increases over the first year if they pass the competency assessments.

Essential Responsibilities, Accountabilities & Results



  • Review job ticket instructions to determine requirement of job production.
  • Make, finish, and possibly mount printing plates correctly and in accordance with customer needs and timing
  • Use all platemaking equipment - Prepare files, run CDI, exposure, washout and finishing units, solvent based still, cutting table, various mounters, sewing machine, etc
  • Operate forklift if / as necessary
  • QC work performed in accordance with department SOP's
  • Be responsible for keeping all work areas clean.
  • Participate in process improvement efforts and various production meetings to foster a positive creative impact on the business.



Education & Experience



  • No manufacturing experience required
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

Physical Requirements



  • Lifting up to 65 lbs.
  • Positioning material with the assistance of carts and overhead cranes
  • Standing/walking for whole/majority of shift
  • Vision abilities include close vision in the inspection of the work
  • Infrequent pushing/pulling of carts

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $21 - $22 USD hourly. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.
