About the Position This Washington, D.C. based position supports the development of regulatory and business strategies that enable the company to influence federal energy policy and advance transmission infrastructure solutions consistent with Ameren's mission to power the quality of life. The role represents the company before federal regulators, various trade associations, and regional transmission organization (RTO) stakeholder meetings. Key Responsibilities Include:
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required, preferably in engineering, economics, public policy, or related energy discipline. Minimum seven (7) years of relevant experience (e.g., federal energy regulation, RTO/ISO markets, energy policy) required. Preferred Qualifications

Additional Information Ameren's selection process includes a series of interviews and may include a leadership assessment process. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates. Compensation Range: $131,900.00 - $204,400.00At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
