About the Role

We are seeking an Ingredient Prep Operator to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As an Ingredient Prep Operator, you will be accountable for accurately preparing, mixing, and managing ingredients to ensure consistent dough quality, precise recipe execution, and efficient support to the Rheon Line. Your work is essential to maintaining product excellence, food safety, and smooth production flow.

Shift & Schedule



  • Shift: 3rd
  • Hours: 10:00PM - 6:30AM
  • Weekend availability: Required



Compensation



  • Hourly Rate: $21



Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)



  • Prepare and mix ingredients according to recipes to ensure consistent dough quality
  • Monitor dough temperatures, textures, and mixing parameters to meet specifications
  • Maintain accurate ingredient inventory and ensure correct lot usage per picklist
  • Control dough flow to support efficient Rheon Line performance
  • Document data in production systems (e.g., MOVEX) accurately and on time
  • Maintain clean, organized, and foodsafe mixing and ingredient areas
  • Follow all safety, quality, and sanitation standards to support compliant operations



Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)



  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to understand and follow recipes, mixing processes, and production documentation
  • Basic knowledge of dough mixing and mixing equipment operation
  • Ability to read and interpret temperature and scale readings
  • At least 6 months of experience as an operator in a production environment
  • Ability to lift and handle up to 50 lbs. safely
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills in English



Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)



  • Experience in bakery or foodmanufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with ingredient batching systems or inventory control processes
  • Knowledge of foodsafety or HACCP practices
  • Experience with ERP systems such as MOVEX
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot minor process issues
