Description Acara Solutions has been providing aerospace/defense and advanced manufacturing firms with our staffing services nationally for over 65 years. Our San Jose region aerospace/defense client is looking for a Quality Engineer to join their organization as a direct salaried employee. The salary range for this position is $110K - $130K.
Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (ideally in Engineering - has to be a technical degree)
Min 3 years of experience in process engineering or product quality assurance for electronics or mechanical products (ideally in aerospace or defense hardware)
Min 3 years of ISO-9001 certified Quality Management Systems experience
Due to U.S. military/defense customers, U.S. Citizenship and the ability to get a Secret clearance in the future is required.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
5+ years of quality engineering experience
Familiarity with MIL-STD-883 and MIL-PRF-38534
ASQ certifications (CQE, CQA, CSQP, CRE) a plus
AS9100 experience
