Strong communication skills are required for this position as liasion with our business technology and the business they are supporting. SAP experience is a plus. Successful candidates have come from IT Project Management, Business Analysts, Operations Management, for examples. Additional Scopes of the Role: Translates complex ideas clearly between business and technical teams Understands endtoend processes and sees how changes affect the whole workflow Identifies inefficiencies and recommends practical, modern solutions Conceptualizes and articulates the future state in a way people can visualize Influences without authority and gains buyin across teams Anticipates resistance and helps teams adapt smoothly Communicates clearly and proactively at all levels of the organization Connects business needs to technology capabilities Uses data and evidence to support decisions and measure impact Balances strategic vision with handson execution Understands user experience and pain points to ensure adoption Stays adaptable and learns quickly, especially as tools evolve Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 8 years experience supporting or acting as a SME for BT applications, including in depth transactional and cross functional process knowledge preferred.. . Position Purpose: Responsible for supporting Customer Support software solutions enhancements and sustaining activities. A large focus will be supporting new software initiatives while ensuring the integrity of the global template, as well as identifying, scoping and delivering on continuous improvement opportunities. Requires extensive knowledge of lean and project management techniques. Identifies where process improvements can be made, identifies software applicable solutions, creates the business case and works with the business and development team to develop the functional specification. Job Description Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions: Ensures that supported applications-delivered business process provides the appropriate functionality to run the business by leveraging detailed business knowledge. Leads small scale projects independently. Assists with project management of large scope technical initiatives. Identifies where process improvements can be made and works with BT/ERP and business SMEs to create the business case for each initiative. Responsible for recommending improvements with supported application functionality. Takes complex business requirements and models them within supported applications. Act as expert on all details regarding critical business processes and associated requirements. Understands / evaluates the impact of new processes and how to prepare the business for change. Using process mapping, lean six sigma and continuous improvement methods, applies these principles to functional business areas. Has a strong understanding of the reporting tools available and how to apply them (Crystal Reports / Cognos / Power BI etc.) . Additional Functions: Leads and assist with the resolution of complex process-related break fix / production issues. . Conducts training and prepares training programs and materials as needed. . Performs all other duties as assigned. . Perform other duties as assigned. Other Requirements: Completion of appropriate training in a Lean manufacturing and project management best practices desired. Experience creating business case packages and leading their presentation. Experience with effectively communicating to senior management. Software application configuration / authorization management knowledge and experience desired.
