Maintenance Technician

Kodak is looking for a qualified technician to join our team!

Tool and Die experience with a focus on shearing and slitting knowledge is preferred.
The position is full-time, 40 hours per week scheduled from 7am to 3pm Monday through Friday with some weekend work.
Weekends are for PM work on the machine when it is not in production. Overtime work available.

Responsibilities:
* Qualified candidate will need to be a well-motivated self-starter.
* Comprehension of the metric measuring system is required.
* Required use of precision measuring tools.
* Clear understanding of tolerances related to precision cutting of aluminum sheeting.
* Must work and follow all company safety procedures to include LOTO and PPE.
* Will be required to assist maintenance team as needed to include some coverage. The candidate will have to use cleaner solutions that require the use of a full-face respirator.
* Working knowledge of rotary/drum shear operations including installing and gap setting of blades as well as slitting operations with rotary blades.
* Able to operate a manual lathe, milling machine, grinder and understand the proper use of hand tools.
* Computer skills are needed in the use of pulling and detailing work ticket information.
* Candidates will be required to handle sharp blades with extreme caution.
* The workspace within the shop will be kept neat and organized. Documentation of the blade stock and size will be required.
* Candidate will be responsible for sending out and receiving sharp knives and blades.

Qualifications:
* 2 Year associates in Tool and Die, Machining or related field.
* 5 plus years in manufacturing environment.
* Must be able to adapt to production needs and repairs in a self-controlled manner while under pressure.
