Enbridge is looking for a Sr Project Controls Advisor to provide technical leadership in monitoring, controlling, and reporting on the cost-related aspects of Core projects. This includes ensuring that costs for assigned projects are identified, accounted for, and reported in an accurate and timely manner and in accordance with the company's established business practices and procedures.

What You Will Do:

  • Collecting information for project cost estimates, establishing control budgets, monitoring and control of incurred project costs, cost forecasting, cost variance analysis and cost reporting to various internal partners.

  • Provide capital cost control, analysis, and reporting requirements for multiple complex and multi-disciplined major projects.

  • Prepare reports and presentations for and provide support to project management team members and stakeholders regarding the cost status of their respective project budgets.

  • Widen and apply expertise by broadening alliances and working relationships with a broad cross-section of partners, both within and beyond Core Projects business unit.

Who You Are:

  • University degree, diploma or related construction or engineering experience.

  • 6 or more years of previous related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Note without a degree, you are required to have 9 years of experience.

  • Project Management Professional designation and/or AACE certification are assets.

  • Advance knowledge of related Microsoft Office software, Ecosys, Oracle, enterprise structure and standard project control procedures, etc.

  • Effective communication both verbally and in written form. This includes the ability to work well with peers, internal and external partners.

  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks and to work with minimal level of supervision.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment.

  • 5% of travel may be required between Canada and the US. A valid passport is required.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to:

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.

Salary: $106,00/year - $150,000/year USD.
