Research Pro 1 PPIC Lab

The researcher will perform experiments related to protein solubility and beverage application. The project will require design of experiment and performing statistical analysis to optimize conditions. The researcher will summarize data in tables and figures and prepare a report.

Responsibilities

• Design protein solubilization experiments (15%)
• Perform beverage related analyses using various instruments (15%)
• Analyze data and summarize outcome (10%)
• Operate and maintain lab equipment as needed (5%)
• Keep detailed records of all experiments in laboratory notebooks, databases, and spreadsheets (5%)

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS degree, or a combination of education and relevant work experience to equal at least 4 years

Preferred Qualifications

• MSc in Food Science or related field 2-4 years of experience in a laboratory setting and Design of experiments, experience with advanced analytical techniques, and data analysis experience

Pay Range: $27.00 per hour, depending on education/qualifications/experience
