As a Security Officer - Badge Verification in Cedar Rapids, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, manage badge access, and support a smooth flow at entry points. You will monitor activity in assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, document incidents, and communicate clearly with site teams. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification and/or authorization, issuing visitor credentials, managing check-in and check-out logs, and directing visitors, contractors, and deliveries to the appropriate areas.
• Monitor entry points, gates, and receiving areas for unusual activity; report and document security-related concerns, policy violations, and maintenance issues according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services when required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, production-adjacent spaces, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
