Position Summary

Responsible for setting up, operating, and performing minor maintenance on the parts washing machine. Perform all duties necessary to the efficient operation of all equipment in the plant. Operate and maintain plant equipment in accordance with standard work and building procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Be capable of working from factory production orders, routings, other paperwork, and verbal instructions
  • Operate powered and manual pallet transporters, and lift pans of parts to load and unload the machine
  • Prepare move tickets and maintain paperwork files as needed
  • Add chemicals and water to parts washer tanks as necessary to product clean parts, and check the solution

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Previous experience operating a digital scale preferred
  • Sound decision making skills
  • Good math, reading and writing skills
  • Basic computer skills
