Job Overview:

The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing systems and processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity across the organization. This role involves applying engineering principles, data analysis, and problem?solving methods to streamline operations in manufacturing, logistics, and business processes.

Responsibilities:


  • Process Improvement: Evaluate existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop solutions to enhance workflow, reduce waste, and increase throughput.

  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support decision?making and continuous improvement efforts.

  • Lean & Six Sigma Application: Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other quality methodologies to improve performance and eliminate waste.

  • Time & Motion Studies: Conduct studies to determine optimal labor and equipment utilization.

  • Capacity Planning: Analyze resource needs and recommend strategies to meet production targets efficiently.

  • Layout Design: Design or optimize plant layouts, production lines, and workstations to improve safety and efficiency.

  • Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities to reduce operational costs without compromising quality or safety.

  • Project Management: Lead or support projects related to automation, equipment upgrades, and process optimization.

  • Cross?Functional Collaboration: Work closely with manufacturing, supply chain, quality, maintenance, and leadership teams to drive improvements.

  • Documentation: Develop clear documentation for procedures, workflows, and project outcomes.




Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

  • 2+ years of related industrial engineering experience.

  • Proficiency with value stream mapping and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab, Power BI).

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, value stream mapping, and line balancing.




Core Competencies:


  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast paced environment.




Preferences:


  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.

  • Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or operations engineering.

  • Knowledge of simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim).

  • Familiarity with ERP systems.




Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:


  • Onsite.




The pay range for this role is $80,000-$105,000. The pay range considers a wide range of factors that include a candidate's skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and geographic location.
