Senior Manager, Corporate Human Resources

Permanent position, Full-time Job Summary
Reporting to the VP of HR, the Senior Human Resources Business Partner will provide broad HR support to the HARIBO of America headquarters in Rosemont, Illinois. The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with associates and management for the business. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to the VP of HR, management, and associates that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The Senior HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition.
What You'll Do
- Liaison and facilitator for HR leadership supporting Corporate Functions.
- Responsible for supporting the overall performance management process including objective setting, mid-year, and year-end reviews, calibration, as well as identifying and addressing performance issues and management of performance improvement plans.
- Enhances and/or develops, implements and enforces HR policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the organization. In particular, utilizes HR information systems to provide reports for critical analyses for the HR function.
- Assists international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters.
- Oversees office needs and administrative staff as necessary, such as reception workers and assistants.
- Establishes credibility throughout the organization to be an effective listener and problem solver of people issues.
- Continues improving the programs, policies, practices and processes associated with meeting the strategic and operational people issues of the organization.
- Evaluates the HR division structure and team plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group as well as for providing individuals with professional and personal growth opportunities.
- Oversee the development and deployment of performance management systems to ensure compliance with established guidelines and practices; including training, coaching, and guiding managers/associates on the process.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or other related discipline required.
- SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR a plus.
- Desired 7+ years experience within Corporate HR-related roles, management experience a plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal employment law, including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, etc.
- Ability to effectively address complex issues in an effective and efficient manner, and with complete discretion; ability to be entrusted with sensitive and confidential information.
- Result-driven with excellent judgment, decision-making, interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication, analytical skills, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of business acumen.
What We'll Pay
- Target Hiring Pay Range: $145,000 - $160,000 annually.
- This pay range represents the min/max target annual base salary range HARIBO of America, Inc. may pay for this position at the time of this posting.
- Please note, a candidate's offered annual salary will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, internal equity, and the geographical location of the role.
