We are looking for a Service Manager to join our team on our journey for a better tomorrow. Your role Your mission as a Service Manager is to serve as key player in developing the service business in our region. This position provides daily leadership and oversight for a team of experienced service technicians and works with them to ensure we are providing and excellent customer experience which typically involves customer service interactions, reports, and repairs.
- You will strengthen customer relations by making routine visits to resolve issues, advice on service standards
- You will be responsible for maximizing retention and service revenue potential from current Quincy Compressor installed base.
- You will help plan and control the daily workload of the Service Technicians
- You will provide technical support to the Service Technicians and customers
- You will oversee and improve the efficiency/utilization of Service Technicians
- You will support the daily operations of Service Technicians by facilitating communications with Technical Support, Sales/Marketing, and the customer.
- You will maintain a safe working environment while enforcing safety procedures and compliance to Federal laws and regulations.
- You will arrange safety training for Service Technicians as mandated by regulatory agencies and customers.
- You will maintain documentation/certification records relevant to Service Technician training.
To succeed, you need
- 5-7 years of directly relevant experience, preferably within the compressed air industry.
- You have an Associates degree in Business, or Management considered with supplemental technical training or experience.
- You have 5 to 7 years or relevant expereince preferably in compressor industry.
- You have knowledge of safety practices and procedures and OSHA regulatory compliance required
- You have exceptional organizational, supervisory, interpersonal, verbal and written communication
- You are able to travel by air travel to attend trainings and meetings.
- You are extremely proficient in Microsof Office, search engines, and database management.
