Job Requirements
Fearless is seeking a professional to serve as Scrum Master and support high-performing Agile delivery teams. This role focuses exclusively on enabling teams through servant leadership, facilitation, and continuous improvement. The individual will guide teams in applying Agile principles and Scrum practices, foster a culture of collaboration and accountability, and ensure effective, predictable delivery aligned with federal requirements. They will partner closely with Product Owners, technical teams, and stakeholders to remove impediments, enhance transparency, and promote Agile maturity
What You'll do
Responsibilities:
- Serve as Scrum Master across multiple Agile delivery teams supporting complex software development efforts.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure Scrum events are effective, time-boxed, and focused on delivering incremental value.
- Coach team members, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles and best practices.
- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Support team self-organization and promote ownership of delivery outcomes.
- Identify, track, and remove impediments impacting team progress, escalating when necessary.
- Monitor team performance using Agile metrics, including velocity, burndown, cycle time, and cumulative flow.
- Use data-driven insights to improve predictability, quality, and delivery flow.
- Ensure backlog readiness and sprint preparedness in collaboration with the Product Owner.
- Coordinate cross-team dependencies through Scrum of Scrums or scaled Agile ceremonies when applicable.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders and technical leads to align delivery cadence and priorities.
- Maintain transparency with stakeholders regarding progress, risks, and team capacity.
- Administer and maintain Agile tooling environments, including Jira, Confluence, Miro, and Git-based repositories.

Qualifications Required:
- 7 years or more of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach supporting software delivery teams.
- Experience supporting federal digital services programs, preferably within compliance-driven or regulatory environments.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Scrum certification such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent.
- Demonstrated expertise in Agile frameworks, with Scrum required and Kanban or SAFe preferred.
- Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Experience using Agile collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, and Git-based repositories.
- Experience working in DevSecOps environments with iterative and incremental delivery models.
- Familiarity with human-centered design principles and federal digital service guidance is preferred.
- Previous experience working on EDGAR or other SEC systems is a plus.
- Experience working within blended federal and contractor Agile delivery teams

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer or during meetings.
- Must be able to travel occasionally to client sites or company meetings.
- Ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, and in-person, requiring clear speech, listening, and written communication skills.
- Ability to move within an office environment, including reaching for files, using office equipment, and occasional light lifting (up to 10 pounds).
