The Gift Shop Coordinator assists the Manager in the daily operations of the Gift Shop. This includes learning the inventory control system; ordering and processing inventories; and helping to monitor and maintain product stock levels. This job is responsible for the operations of the Gift Shop in the absence of the Manager. This job also works closely with the Manager to keep all files up-to-date and accurate as well as assist in the promotion of the Gift Shop.

Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment: N/A Experience REQUIRED: Minimum of three (3) years' experience working in a retail and/or customer service environment Previous experience working on a computerized inventory control system Previous experience using a personal computer and various software applications, including Microsoft, Point of Sale computer system, etc. Experience PREFERRED: Two (2) years of experience in a lead role overseeing the work of a diverse workforce to include volunteers and Auxiliary Staff Education/training REQUIRED: High school Diploma or equivalent Education/training PREFERRED: N/A Independent action(s) required: Fosters an environment where the highest level of customer service is the standard. Adheres to and enforces all policies and procedures are followed. Controls cash in compliance with company policies. Interacts with employees and assists customers in response to their questions, concerns or complaints. Supervisory responsibilities (if applicable): Oversees the daily work schedule of employees/volunteers. Additional position requirements: Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
