Job DescriptionThe Senior HR Training Consultant designs, delivers, and continuously enhances high-quality learning experiences that strengthen leadership capability, support faculty development, and foster readiness and effectiveness in HR and workplace practices across Texas State Technical College.This role serves as a senior-level facilitator and consultative partner, working closely with HR leadership, academic leadership, campus leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to align training initiatives with TSTC's mission, values, growth priorities, and performance expectations. Through strong instructional expertise, disciplined execution, and continuous improvement, the Senior HR Training Consultant advances modern, engaging learning experiences that elevate communication quality, facilitation excellence, and instructional effectiveness. This role strengthens leadership readiness, faculty capability, and workforce confidence in a growing, multi-campus environment. Leadership Development & Capability Building Staff & Faculty Professional Development HR Systems, Safety & Compliance Training Organizational Development & Change Management Program Execution & Continuous Improvement Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, Leadership, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience. Master's degree in Organizational Development, Education, Human Resources, Leadership, or a related field or equivalent advanced professional experience. Demonstrated ability to design and deliver engaging learning experiences across in-person, virtual, hybrid, and asynchronous environments. Strong facilitation skills, including the ability to manage dialogue, participation, and group dynamics effectively. Ability to translate complex HR, leadership, and organizational concepts into practical, accessible learning content. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining quality and alignment. Ability to analyze feedback and performance data to improve learning outcomes. Proficiency in instructional technologies, presentation tools, and learning management systems. Ability to consult with stakeholders and recommend effective development solutions aligned with institutional priorities. Telework eligibility is determined by role responsibilities and business needs. The employee must be reachable during standard business hours through established communication channels as required by the role. Some duties may require work outside standard business hours to support training sessions, leadership programs, retreats, or time-sensitive initiatives.
