ABOUT THE JOB:

This role is part of the compensation team and works with the Sales Compensation Leader to design, develop andadminister compensation programs for the commercial (sales) organization. This role will partner with HR, Sales, Finance and Accounting to evaluate the effectiveness of the sales compensation programs.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Participate in the design, development, and implementation of both new and existing sales compensation programs, including change management, communication and evaluation of the effectiveness of each program to support business objectives.
  • Educate and train the sales teams on sales compensation program structures, system and other incentive opportunities.
  • Maintain compensation documentation and ensure process is aligned with governance.
  • Model compensation scenarios to support quota setting, territory planning, and incentive optimization.
  • Maintain clear documentation of compensation plans, policies, and processes to support transparency and audit readiness.
  • Provide ongoing support by researching and resolving sales compensation program calculation-related inquiries.
  • Serves as main contact for audit and control process by maintaining proper documentation of the sales compensation plan processes and related controls.
  • Create adhoc reporting from various sources, validate data and analyze results to support reporting needs related to plan design and effectiveness.
  • Additional duties and functions as assigned.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of working experience in the related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in compensation, sales operations, finance or similar roles.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in using sales compensation systems such as SPIFF, Xactly or SAP Incentive.


Requried Skills and Abilities:



  • Experience in using excel, such as vlookups, pivot tables and formuals.


Preferred skills and abilities:



  • Strong attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
