Acentra Health is looking for a Growth Strategy & Market Development, SVP to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

The Senior Vice President, Growth Strategy & Market Development to lead enterprise-wide growth initiatives, market expansion, and partnership strategies that drive sustainable revenue and strengthen competitive positioning. Reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer, this executive will define growth priorities, design go-to-market strategies, and collaborate across functions to expand Acentra Health's presence in healthcare and behavioral health markets.

This role requires a proven leader who combines strategic acumen with executional discipline and the ability to foster strong, consultative relationships across clients, partners, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in healthcare market development, national sales leadership, and innovative solution design.

Responsibilities:

Enterprise Growth Strategy & Market Leadership
* Lead the development and execution of growth strategies across government, commercial, and behavioral health markets
* Identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and policy changes to shape portfolio priorities and investment strategies
* Translate market intelligence into actionable business plans that drive measurable growth and differentiation
* Provide strategic oversight for enterprise-level initiatives that position Acentra Health for scalable success

Go-To-Market & Sales Enablement
* Design and implement go-to-market frameworks that align product, marketing, and sales functions for maximum impact
* Develop sales enablement tools, playbooks, and performance frameworks that enhance effectiveness and accountability
* Foster a consultative sales culture centered on relationships, outcomes, and value creation
* Establish repeatable models for market entry and expansion across state, federal, and commercial sectors

Market Development & Expansion
* Direct strategies to expand Acentra Health's footprint in high-growth and adjacent markets through new client acquisition and strategic partnerships
* Partner with business units and operations to identify gaps and design innovative, market-ready solutions
* Build scalable business models and partnerships to accelerate growth and improve market access

Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Partner with Product, Operations, and Delivery to ensure offerings align with evolving client and market needs
* Promote alignment between strategy, execution, and performance measurement across all teams
* Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to overall business direction and decision-making

Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Growth
* Cultivate and manage partnerships with payers, providers, employers, and government agencies to enhance reach and competitiveness
* Structure partnership agreements that drive innovation, expand market presence, and deliver mutual value
* Represent Acentra Health externally to build thought leadership and strengthen brand presence in the healthcare industry

Market Intelligence & Insights
* Build and oversee a market intelligence function to track competitors, industry trends, and performance analytics.
* Use data and insights to inform strategy adjustments and identify emerging opportunities.
* Present findings and recommendations to the Growth Leadership Team and executive stakeholders.

Leadership & Organizational Development
* Lead and mentor a high-performing growth and strategy team focused on collaboration, innovation, and measurable results
* Foster a culture of accountability, professional development, and continuous improvement
* Champion organizational values and ensure alignment with Acentra Health's mission and growth objectives

* Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Psychology, or a related field
  • 15+ years of senior leadership experience in growth strategy, market development, or business development within healthcare or behavioral health sectors
  • Proven success leading enterprise sales and market expansion initiatives that deliver measurable growth
  • Expertise in strategic planning, go-to-market execution, and sales lifecycle management
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills and ability to influence at all levels of the organization
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and executive relationship management abilities
  • Analytical mindset with proven experience using data to guide decision-making and performance improvement

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree (MBA, MHA, or equivalent) preferred
  • Deep understanding of healthcare and behavioral health markets, including payer, employer, and government channels.
  • Experience leading growth strategy for multi-line healthcare organizations or wellness platforms
  • Familiarity with federal and state contracting and value-based care models
  • Demonstrated success in developing high-performing teams and establishing strategic partnerships that drive innovation and revenue
