About the opportunity
As a Contract Warehouse Associate, you play a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations that help ensure our products reach the customers who depend on them. In this handson role, you work with inventory, materials, and equipment in a regulated environment while contributing to the smooth and safe flow of goods across the warehouse.
Your tasks include
  • Handling, moving, and storing materials safely, including lifting items up to 50 lbs.
  • Completing repetitive manual tasks and standing for extended periods of time (6-7 hours).
  • Working briefly in cold environments, including -20C and 4C rooms.
  • Following SOPs, documentation practices, and quality standards in a regulated setting.
  • Performing warehouse duties independently with minimal supervision.
  • Operating or learning to operate a forklift as required.
  • Using basic computer applications to support inventory accuracy and warehouse workflows.
Your profile
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to daily warehouse tasks.
  • Comfort working in repetitive, manual, and fastpaced environments.
  • Commitment to safe work practices, including wearing steeltoed shoes and required PPE.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous forklift experience or openness to learning forklift operation.
  • Willingness to work in FDA-, cGMP-, ISO-, and other regulated production environments; prior experience is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with basic computer applications; SAP and Excel experience preferred.

The typical pay rate for this role is $20/hour. This temporary and/or contract position is not eligible for QIAGEN's company benefits. The position includes only those benefits mandated by applicable state and federal law, if any, which are provided by the agency employer.
