Technical Sales Representative - Portland, OR & Seattle, WA Region

General Job Description Summary: Reports to and receives assignments, instructions and direction from the General Manager of Sales, National Sales Manager and/or Regional Sales Manager.  Responsible for capital equipment sales, consumable sales and product support for all products manufactured and distributed by Helena Laboratories. Duties include product demonstration, financial demonstration, installation and operator training. Customer support to include assisting customers with technical issues and general account maintenance. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required PPE. Performs various other duties and activities as directed by the Manager. Must meet all elements of the Helena General Job Standards Pertaining to All Jobs, Job Classification Standards – Job Requirements Matrix and General Job Requirements. 

Education / Training:    Minimum requirement: Associates Degree. Prefer Degree in one of the Life Sciences. Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician also preferred but not required.

Experience: Sales experience preferred but not required.

Additional Requirements: Must have valid driver’s license, be insurable, capable of meeting credentialing requirements and ability to load and move Helena’s equipment from car to facility.
