As an Allied Universal Security Officer supporting a busy logistics and distribution location, you will manage access control at key entry points, verify credentials and badges, and maintain clear visitor and employee logs. You will conduct routine patrols and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, while providing strong customer service and communication to teams on site. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at entry and exit points by checking identification, verifying authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing drivers, employees, and vendors to the proper check-in process.
• Monitor gates, doors, cameras, alarms, and/or access control systems; document activity and report irregular conditions to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of dock areas, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity, and complete required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss Prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
