As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help support daily operations by screening people and items, controlling access points, and documenting security-related activity. You will stay visible, communicate clearly with associates and visitors, and respond to concerns with a customer-first mindset rooted in integrity and teamwork. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license under Allied Universal policy.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals and belongings as required by post orders, including checking identification, directing foot traffic, and controlling entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Conduct vehicle and trailer entry processing as assigned, including verifying credentials and shipping documentation, and communicating irregularities per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including completing reports and escalating concerns through the chain of command.
• Maintain a visible presence at screening locations and nearby areas, and perform periodic checks of assigned zones as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be able to lift up to 20 lbs preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
