Job Description




As a Security Officer - Fire Watch in Findlay, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with strong customer service and communication. You will support site operations by documenting activity and partnering with teammates and on-site staff. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Control access to the facility by verifying identification, issuing temporary badges, managing vehicle entry and exit, and directing visitors and deliveries per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including activating notifications, coordinating with on-site contacts, and documenting actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, process areas, tank farms, loading zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs, monitor alarms and cameras where assigned, and communicate observations promptly to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
