As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, stay highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming customer experience. You will observe and document activity, communicate clearly with shoppers, tenants, and site leadership, and respond to concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and store associates by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail areas, common spaces, service corridors, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including addressing disturbances, assisting with medical calls, and coordinating with on-site management and/or local responders as needed.
• Monitor access points, loading and receiving areas, and restricted spaces, verifying authorization and documenting unusual activity according to post orders.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and customer interactions, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2+ years of security experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
