1) Role Overview We're hiring Customer Service Representatives to support a healthcare-focused call center. You'll help members with questions related to prior authorizations and benefits by providing clear, accurate information and documenting each interaction in multiple systems. This role is great for someone who enjoys structured work, problem-solving on the phone, and hitting accuracy targets. 2) What You'll Be Doing * Handle inbound calls and occasional follow-up calls. * Answer questions about prior authorization and general benefit inquiries. * Work with confidential healthcare information using established policies. * Enter notes and updates accurately in several systems. * Meet expectations for call quality, accuracy, and productivity. * Use provided scripts, procedures, and knowledge bases to support members. 3) What Success Looks Like * Completing 4 weeks of training with an average test score of 90% or higher. * Managing 50-100 calls per day depending on complexity. * Maintaining accurate documentation with minimal errors. * Staying consistent, on time, and reliable with your assigned schedule. * Contributing positively in a structured, performance-based environment. 4) Requirements Must-Have (non-negotiable) * At least 1 year of recent high-volume call center experience (within the last 2-3 years). * Steady work history with at least one 1year tenure in previous roles. * Typing speed of 30+ WPM. * Strong computer literacy and ability to navigate multiple systems. * Comfortable handling confidential healthcare information. * Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States. * Able to complete required assessments (typing, call center scenarios, computer skills). Nice-to-Have (teachable/optional) * Experience in healthcare, pharmacy benefits, or prior authorization. * Bilingual skills. * Pharmacy technician certification. 5) Important Realities (No Surprises) * Training is Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm for the first 4 weeks. * You must score an average of 90% on training tests to continue. * Work schedules are assigned after training based on performance. * Mandatory overtime is required in January and February. * This role is fully on-site in Tempe-no remote option. * High call volume and strict accuracy expectations are part of daily work. 6) Who Will Thrive / Who Might Not *Will Thrive:* * Individuals who like structured processes and clear expectations. * Strong listeners who stay calm on high-volume phone days. * People who take pride in accuracy and documentation. * Candidates who appreciate stability and long-term growth opportunities. *Might Not:* * Anyone uncomfortable with repetitive phone work. * People who prefer flexible schedules. * Those who struggle with fast learning during training. * Candidates with inconsistent work history (the client will not approve "jumpy" resumes). 7) Pay, Schedule & Logistics * *Pay:* $21.00/hour * *Schedule:* Must be available 5am-10pm, 7 days/week; set schedule assigned after training. * *Training:* 4 weeks, Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm. * *Work Environment:* On-site in Tempe with growth opportunities across departments. * *Start Date:* April 5, 2026 * *Drug Test:* Required. 8) Next Steps You'll complete a screening call, required assessments (typing, call center skills), and then interview with the hiring team.
