Security Officer - Unarmed Foot Patrol

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Foot Patrol in SAVANNAH, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and/or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with staff and visitors, document observations, and respond to alarms and/or calls for assistance. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the distribution and retail facility, including interior areas, loading docks, and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor/vendor check-in processes, verifying credentials and directing deliveries and drivers to designated areas per post orders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications to site contacts and public responders when needed.
• Complete detailed reports of observations, incidents, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
