Overview

Detail-oriented and proactive Awards and Events Specialist to support our firm's global award strategy through the identification, development (editing or writing) tracking and submission of legal industry awards and rankings. This role is ideal for someone with strong writing, project management, and research skills who is interested in legal marketing and professional services branding. The role will also provide support for firm events as needed.



Responsibilities

Awards Management:
* Track and maintain a global calendar of relevant legal industry awards and recognitions (e.g., Law360, American Lawyer, The Lawyer, etc.)
* Coordinate internal timelines and deadlines for submissions.
* Assist in drafting, editing, and compiling award submissions in collaboration with attorneys, practice group leaders, BD and comms
* Maintain a global database of past submissions, results, and feedback.
Research & Analysis:
* Research new award opportunities globally aligned with firm priorities and practice strengths.
* Analyze competitor recognition and industry trends to inform strategy.
Internal Coordination:
* Liaise with attorneys, practice groups, and global business development teams to gather content and metrics.
* Create an efficient and informative awards tracking submission database for global marketing
* Assist BD team/events manager with events as needed
Marketing Support:
* Collaborate with the communications team to promote award wins across digital channels (website, social media, newsletters).
* Draft, write and edit award materials for these channels and post on the appropriate



Qualifications

* A minimum of three years of related work experience - legal marketing preferred
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
* Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
* Strong organizational and project management abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM or content management systems is a plus.
* Interest in the legal industry and professional recognition programs.
