SCOPE:

March of Dimes is seeking a Temporary Recruiter to support full-cycle recruiting during a period of increased hiring activity. This role will partner closely with hiring managers and the Human Resources team to ensure an efficient, high-quality, and mission-aligned hiring process. The Temporary Recruiter will manage multiple open positions simultaneously, source qualified candidates, network, facilitate interviews, and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

The Temporary Recruiter will partner closely with hiring managers and the Human Resources team to ensure an equitable, efficient, and high-quality hiring process. This role requires a proactive sourcing mindset, strong relationship-building skills, and a demonstrated commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion through recruitment practices.

*This is a part-time temporary position (28 hours per week) Monday-Thursday. Eastern time zone is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Full-Cycle Recruiting



  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for assigned positions, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer support
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, timelines, and candidate profiles
  • Ensure timely movement of candidates through the hiring process


Proactive Sourcing, Networking & Diverse Talent Pipeline Development



  • Actively source qualified candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, professional networks, industry associations, and targeted outreach
  • Develop and maintain diverse talent pipelines to support current and future hiring needs, with intentional outreach to underrepresented talent pools
  • Utilize creative sourcing strategies to identify and engage both active and passive candidates
  • Build relationships with professional organizations, affinity groups, and networks that support diverse talent communities
  • Leverage personal and professional networks to identify qualified and diverse candidates
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with prospective candidates to support future hiring needs


Interview Coordination & Process Management



  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams
  • Ensure hiring managers are prepared with interview guides and candidate information
  • Track candidate progress and maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system


Candidate Experience & Communication



  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Provide timely and professional communication to candidates regarding next steps and decisions
  • Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience that reflects the organization's values


Administrative & Operational Support



  • Maintain recruiting data and documentation in the applicant tracking system
  • Support offer process coordination and pre-employment requirements


QUALIFICATIONS:

Required



  • 3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in a corporate, nonprofit, or mission-driven environment
  • Experience managing multiple open positions simultaneously
  • Strong sourcing, screening, and candidate engagement skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and LinkedIn Recruiter


Preferred



  • Experience recruiting for nonprofit, healthcare, or professional services roles
  • Experience working in a remote or hybrid environment
  • Familiarity with HR systems such as UKG or similar platforms
  • Eastern time zone preferred
