The M&S Event Mission Manager will support the mission of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Engineering Directorate Modeling & Simulation (M&S) Office to test the Missile Defense System (MDS) in a distributed Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) simulation environment, including MDS Ground Test (GT) events and MDS Flight Test support (pre-mission risk reduction, mission execution team training, and post-flight reconstruction), as well as M&S development and test support to other Department of Defense (DoD) Partners.

As an M&S Event Mission Manager (Mid-Level) your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:

  • Provide strategic planning and project management support for MDS Test Events, Framework M&S, and element M&S risk reduction activities in support of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).

  • Serve as a liaison among M&S software developers, integration, analysis, test, infrastructure teams, MDA elements, MDS participants, and stakeholders to coordinate capabilities, schedules, resources, and requirements.

  • Review test plans and event schedules to assess supportability, coordinate facilities and personnel, and ensure integration of development timelines and test activities.

  • Participate in planning meetings, working groups, and technical reviews; communicate status updates, track issues to resolution, and provide risk management recommendations to leadership.

Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship

  • Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

  • 8+ years of relevant experience.

  • Active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI

  • Demonstrated experience supporting technical programs, test events, or complex projects, including schedule and resource coordination.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working within MDA Ground Test environments.

  • Experience with MDA and Other Government Agencies (OGA) demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of overall MDS infrastructure and participants capabilities.

  • Experience leading integrated system test events.

  • Familiarity with real-time distributed simulation infrastructures; MDS Element configurations and operations; and DOD Operational Testing (OT) and Development Testing (DT)

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar highly desired but not required.

  • Demonstrated Project Management Experience preferred.

  • Understanding of cloud testing principles and the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in modern test and evaluation environments, highly desired but not required.
