Position Summary

Responsible for driving team performance and ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial statements and reporting. Identify opportunities and implement solutions that will result in greater efficiency and accuracy, help to streamline and create efficiencies with current processes and procedures.

The position requires maintaining strong accounting controls aligned with company systems and programs. This role has direct reports and plays acritical part in supporting strategic financial decision-making and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for coaching, resolving issues and serving as a link between direct reports and upper management.
  • Supervises daily operations of accounts receivables, accounts payable and payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice approvals, payment application, credit management, and collections.
  • Manages the coordination and audit/review of the monthly closing process.
  • Prepare monthly reports and business analysis as required.
  • Complete corporate requirements for financial packages and surveys.
  • Audit and review of various balance sheet account reconciliations and analysis.
  • Maintain highest degree of customer service, throughput, quality, cost reduction and people productivity.
  • Work with other departments (e.g., Operations, Supply Chain, HR) to resolve accounting issues and support business initiatives.
  • Monitor the general ledger for accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards under US GAAP and company policies
  • Maintain and improve internal controls over financial reporting and key accounting processes.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.

  • 4+ years' experience in accounting/finance required.

  • Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent resident.

  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word)

  • Ability to handle many tasks at a given time and work effectively with others in a team environment.

Competitive Compensation

  • Pay Range: $100300 to $166900 annually
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
