Requisition ID req35958 Working Title Program Therapist Position Grade 12 Position Summary The Department of Family & Community Medicine at the University of New Mexico seeks a highly motivated team player with a commitment for implementation of research studies examining the potential use of psychedelic assisted therapies for PTSD. The on-call position peer facilitator therapy includes being trained to become group facilitator for the GPAT study. GPAT is an innovative study of Group Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy using an affinity group model including veteran/first responders, women survivors of sexual trauma, and other groups. This Program Therapist may assist with the recruitment, prescreening, preparatory, dosing and integration sessions of study participants. They must be present at all medicine and the group preparatory and integrations sessions. Preferred Qualifications include training and/or experience in psychedelic assisted therapy research, group facilitation, and interest in working with individuals with PTSD.
