The Senior Financial Consultant is a key member of the Corporate Services Finance FP&A team, partnering with UHG customers in support of Real Estate operations. This role ensures that business decisions are supported by robust financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis. The position proactively identifies and addresses customer needs, providing actionable financial management.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Oversee day-to-day financial support for Corporate Services portfolios, including operations and capital costs
  • Customer Reporting: Develop and maintain financial reports to communicate results to department and organization leaders
  • Month-End Close: Participate in the month-end close process by analyzing actual expenses versus budget/forecast and preparing journal entries as needed. Assist with consolidated reporting of all Corporate Services results
  • Forecasting: Independently prepare forecasts during major forecasting cycles and participate in capital forecasting processes. Assist with consolidated reporting of all Corporate Services results
  • Capital Support: Analyze and report project forecasts and monthly project actuals
  • Shared Service Allocations: Create, maintain, and analyze shared service allocations
  • Financial Modeling: Develop, maintain, and communicate complex financial modeling in support of Real Estate strategy and project development
  • Customer Relationship Management: Anticipate customer needs and proactively develop innovative solutions, building strong working relationships with key customers. Serves as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues. Influence customers to adopt new ideas, products, and/or approaches
  • Special Projects: May lead functional projects as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Financial planning/forecasting, month-end close, and financial modeling
  • Presenting financial results to varying levels within an organization
  • Providing financial customer service to internal or external stakeholders
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office products; PeopleSoft & Hyperion Essbase/SmartView experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience navigating a highly matrixed organization
  • Financial support for a real estate portfolio
  • Financial support for a capital investment portfolio

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
