Security Officer - Night Vehicle Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Night Vehicle Patrol Driver in La Porte, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents while delivering standout customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and/or petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, access concerns, and process area notifications.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, process-adjacent areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or unsafe conditions, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Control access by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, and directing visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity documentation, and promptly communicate observations and/or concerns to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
