As a Security Officer - Access Gate Patrol Driver in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will help monitor entry points, greet tenants and visitors, verify credentials, and document activity while supporting a professional lobby presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, communicate concerns promptly, and assist with customer service requests. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license under AU Driver Policy Requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
• Control access to the building by verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor passes, managing sign-in logs, and directing guests to appropriate destinations.
• Monitor access points, alarms, and camera systems as assigned, reporting unusual activity and/or maintenance issues through established communication channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to property management and/or public responders as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, tenant corridors, loading areas, and perimeter locations, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
