Security Officer - Armed Arrestee Transport

As a Security Officer - Armed Arrestee Transport in New Port Richey, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service with clear communication and professional customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license and an armed guard card or license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies, and/or supporting emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with onsite personnel and local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter zones, observing for unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter security-related incidents.
• Monitor and document security-related activity using reports, logs, and applicable systems, and promptly communicate observations through established channels.
• Control entry points as assigned, verify identification and authorization, and/or screen vehicles and deliveries per post orders and government facility requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
