Current projects span federal, state, and local government sectors, as well as education, transportation, healthcare, and large public venues. *Role Location & Travel Requirements* This position supports the *Richmond, VA market*, focusing on DAS and lowvoltage installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, RMA work, and publicsafety communications. Work environments include new builds, existing campuses, hospitals, schools, stadiums, and commercial facilities. * Home base: *Richmond, VA* * Travel required, including *overnight stays up to 4 nights at a time* * Occasional travel to the *Tennessee market* * Company vehicle provided * Hotel accommodations covered * *$65/day per diem* * *Oncall rotation every 6-8 weeks* *Position Summary* The DAS Maintenance Technician will support system maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and warranty activities across university campuses, stadiums, commercial buildings, and publicsafety environments. This role provides day2 support after system turnup and is responsible for longterm customer system health, RMA work, and legacy DAS network maintenance. This is a *40hour workweek* with opportunities for overtime. It is a *longterm, fulltime opportunity*, structured as a 6month contracttohire with a strong history of conversion. *Top Skills* *1. DAS Maintenance Experience* * 2-4 years of handson DAS experience, including installation, day2 support, integration, and maintenance * Strong troubleshooting and testing background in DAS environments *2. Technical Proficiency* * Fiber testing & troubleshooting (Fluke, AFL, OTDR required) * Fiber scoping and singlemode splicing * Familiarity with major OEMs: *JMA, Corning, Comba, CommScope* * Experience with PIM/Sweep testing and coax/fiber diagnostics *3. Professional Attributes* * Reliable, selfmotivated, and accountable * Able to work independently in the field * Strong problemsolving and criticalthinking skills * Customerfacing communication skills * Willingness to learn and grow *Work Environment* * Monday-Friday schedule (current shift: *7:00 AM - 4:00 PM*) * Oncall rotation every 6-8 weeks * Must be comfortable working on ladders and in commercial, hospital, government, and publicsafety environments *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
